How to Get This Cover Look: Vol. 8

The cover shoot for Your Beauty Industry Magazine took place at the Naz Kupelian Salon in Lexington, MA. Our photographer Elise Donoghue shot the cover and the inside editorial story. "Cold As Ice" featured four gorgeous models wearing big hair styles and icy blue hues for makeup. Hair teasing and snowflakes always makes for a fun YBI shoot!
Makeup on our cover model Dana was done by YBI Beauty Editor Debra Macki. YBI's Christina Mirabella did wardrobe styling and assisted with makeup. Hair was styled by Naz Kupelian and his team. Here are the steps to achieve our cover look!
Gwyneth Paltrow's Emmy Look

Gwyneth Paltrow's 2011 Emmy look was created by celebrity hair stylist David Babaii. According to David, the look was titled "straight edgy" taking a straight look and disheveling it to create soft texture.
To begin, he took a small amount of Couture Colour Pequi Oil and massaged it into the hair prior to blow drying.

Taking Clients to a "Berry Shade"
