How to Get this Look Our Vol 10 Cover was shot by Photographer Elise Donoghue in Las Vegas.

YBI Beauty Editor Debra Macki did makeup and Hair Stylist Andeen of Hair by Andeen did hair. The shoot was styled by Flockflockflock: alternative material couture by Jennifer Henry. The dresses worn on the cover and this editorial were made from tissue paper, cellophane and tape and they look amazing, if we do say so ourselves!

{MAKEUP}

{HAIR}

To create the style for the cover, Andeen prepped the hair with UNITE Session Whip, followed with a large round brush Blow-dry.

Once dry, small sections were taken and the UNITE Crimper Iron was used to create extreme volume and texture.

Placing a deep side part Andeen slicked the hair down on each side with UNITE Liqua Versa -Gel, and then a center part was made down the middle of the back of the head.

With each crimped section a large bun was formed and securely pinned. The texture from the crimping allowed a more secure hold making it easier to form the buns as large as needed.

Once the buns were in place Hair Paint was used to create the dimensional color.
