OPI has released their line inspired by the new Disney film "Alice in Wonderland". Four fantastic colors, each of course named after the film. "Off with Her Red" is a hot red. "Thanks So Muchness" is a red shimmer. "Mad as Hatter" is a black multi-glitter and "Absolutely Alice" is a blue glitter.
OPI is also doing some giveaways from now until the film's release on March 5th, 2010 including gift certificates to JC Penney Salon.
Urban Decay also had the opportunity to work with Disney on this project. They created an Alice in Wonderland palette with 16 of their best-selling eyeshadows, which they gave names based on the movie. (White Rabbit, Jabberwocky and Oraculum to name a few). The palette also featured eyeshadow primer potion and 2 eye pencils. This product was limited edition and is currently sold out.
Teaming up with beauty companies appears to be a trend for Disney. Disney also worked with Lisa Price and her skincare line "Carol's Daughter" this past fall to create a limited edition line of products for "The Princess and the Frog". The "Princess and the Frog" collection features shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and hair detangler for kids.
